White Pine Book Club

The White Pine Book Club is starting up again this year!

The Book Club is meant to compliment the White Pine Reading Program going on in the Library.

How it works:
There are 10 novels nominated for the White Pine Award. Students who read these novels get to vote on their favourites in the spring. They also get to put their name in a draw in the library. Our club meets every Tuesday at lunch in Room 138 and participates in a
blog online. This year we are going to read one book at a time and discuss 2 chapters at a time. At our first meeting, we will vote on the first book. We are looking for staff members from all departments to join our club. It is a great opportunity to get teachers and students talking about books! If you are interested in joining please contact Mrs Knutsen, Mrs Handberg, or Mrs Spooner.
